Employment Verification Scope
Global Services may support employment-related verification for legitimate recruitment, onboarding, workforce-management or background-verification purposes. Availability depends on the relevant service, provider requirements and the requesting organization's authorization.
Verification Principles
- Each request should be connected to a defined employment or workforce purpose.
- Only information reasonably necessary for the verification should be submitted.
- Access may be restricted by user role, account status, network or service.
- Relevant request and access activity may be logged for audit, billing, security and compliance.
- Verification results must not be repurposed for unrelated marketing, public lookup or personal curiosity.
Typical Process
- The employer or authorized business defines the verification purpose.
- The requesting user confirms authorization and applicable consent requirements.
- The required identifiers are submitted through an approved workflow.
- Available verification information is returned through the authorized service.
- The result is used only for the stated employment-related purpose.
Prohibited Uses
The verification workflow must not be used for stalking, harassment, personal curiosity, unauthorized profiling, public people search, spam, unlawful surveillance, impersonation or unauthorized resale/redistribution of personal information.
Third-Party Verification Providers
Some verification functions may rely on approved third-party service providers. Each provider may impose additional eligibility, consent, data-handling, retention, usage or downstream-access requirements. Global Services will make a provider-backed service available only where the applicable commercial and compliance arrangement permits it.
